MIS is a modular cable entry system for industrial installations, developed for the combination of cables with or without contacts together with industrial 3A and 4A connectors.
The system enables sealing and strain relief according to EN 62444 as well as space-saving integration of connectors and cable entry in the same frame.

The Modular Interface System / MIS is a divisible cable entry for cables with or without a contact in combination with industrial connectors 3A or 4A. An industrial connector of size 3A or 4A can be connected directly to the frame. Cables with a diameter of 1 to 15 mm can be routed, sealed and strain relief according to EN 62444.

The cable gland frame consists of a frame (mounting housing for 3A/4A socket insert), a cover, two screws and a locking element. The counterpart consists of a housing for the 3A/4A pin insert and a cable gland, either M20 for cable diameters 6 – 12 mm or M25 for cable diameters 13 – 18 mm. MIS is compatible and CE-compliant with several insert manufacturers.

The cable inserts are inserted into the frame and are automatically fixed. Once it is fully assembled, the cover is screwed on. The plug is then connected and locked in place with the integrated locking element. A protective cover is available for plug connections that are not needed. This cover is available separately as an accessory.

The combination of an industrial connector and cable entry saves additional cutouts and thus space.

The injected seal on the back achieves protection class IP65. IP65 is also achieved in applications with double inserts. The optional protective cover achieves IP54.

This product is available in different versions: with steel screws or stainless steel screws. It is also possible to integrate threaded bushings. Please ask us about your desired variant.
