Cable entry frame / KEL-ER-BL

Cable entry frame / KEL-ER-BL in signal color blue is primarily used in food packaging and processing machines where there is no direct contact with food. Products in this signal color are also popular in the pharmaceutical sector.

KEL-ER-BL is a split cable entry system for cables with and without connectors. Depending on the size, cables with a diameter of 1 to 16 mm ( inserts KT-BL 1 to KT-BL 15 ) or 16 to 35 mm ( inserts KT-BL 16 to 34 ) are pulled, sealed to IP65 and strain relief according to EN 62444. The cable inserts are placed in compartments and are securely attached to the frame during assembly.

The KEL-ER-BL frames match the cut-out dimensions of 10-, 16- and 24-pin standard industrial connectors exactly. Depending on the cables to be routed, a cut-out height of 36 mm or 46 mm can be selected. The KEL-ER-BL-B frame matches the cut-out dimensions of 46 × 46 mm for measuring instruments.

The single-row cable entry KEL-ER-BL-E is characterised by its space-saving design and is therefore ideal for confined spaces and cables with flat connectors (e.g. Sub-D).

Thanks to the injected seal and the use of simple inserts, the KEL-ER-BL series achieves protection class IP65.

• If the surface is coarsely textured or slightly uneven, we recommend installing the blue extra flat rubber gasket included in the delivery.
