Efficient and safe cable management with Unex slotted cable ducts

Unex slotted cable ducts HF are a high-quality solution for efficient cable management in electrical and automation cabinets. These ducts are made of the proprietary, halogen-free material U43X, which increases safety in the event of fire and reduces the emission of toxic gases.

HL3-R22 enl./EN 45545-2

Unex Slotted trunkings 88 in U43X (own-formulated raw material) have successfully passed tests of fire safety according to EN 45545-2: 2013, meeting the requirements R22-R23 (both inside and outside railway vehicles) for hazard levels HL1 to HL3.

The objectives of EN 45545 are to minimize the probability of a fire starting, to control the rate and extent of fire development and through this, to minimize the impact of the products of fire on passengers and staff.

Moreover, Unex Slotted trunkings 88 have successfully passed the tests according to IEC 61373:2010 “Railway applications. Rolling stock equipment. Shock and vibration test”.

Burr-free slotted trunking

Smooth design, without burrs or sharp edges: does not damage the user’s hand nor the cables during mounting.
The cables insulation is not affected during transportation or in applications submitted to vibrations.

Cover

Easy to mount and remove.
In horizontal position, the fingers do not bend and the cover does not fall.
In vertical position, the cover does not slide.

Solid and sturdy trunking

Due to its solidity and sturdiness, the trunking can be suspended between rails.
Few fixings required.

Cable holder

Only one part number for all trunking sizes

The retainer can be cut according to the trunking’s width.
It can be fixed at any adjustable height.
