Kabelgenomföringsplatta / KEL-DPU-OD is ideal for applications where cable entry components are permanently exposed to strong UV radiation, weathering and temperature fluctuations. Compared to standard versions, it offers increased material resistance and a longer service life in outdoor environments. Thanks to its approvals, it is particularly suitable for use in photovoltaic systems (UL 6703, UL 6703A, UL 3703, UL 1703).
F1 listing (UV and weather resistance according to UL 746C): The long-term durability means an increased lifespan without brittleness or material fatigue.
KEL-DPU-OD feed-through plates are designed to guide and seal cables without connectors (from 3.2 mm to 20.5 mm in diameter) on a limited surface with protection classes IP66 / IP68* / UL type 12 & 4X. The KEL-DPU-OD bushing is particularly characterized by its very robust hard frame made of polypropylene that is completely cast with elastomer. This results in a high level of protection against ingress, good stability and high strain relief for the cables being routed.
KEL-DPU 24-OD exactly matches the cut-out dimensions of 24-pin standard industrial connectors. For optional screw mounting, the membranes in the integrated screw holes are punctured directly with the screw. When the KEL-DPU-OD is mounted from the inside of the housing, the screw holes remain completely sealed by the elastomer layer.
Assembly of KEL-DPU-OD with cables can be done quickly and easily. Just make a small hole in the thin membrane and push the cables through.
ST-B plugs can be used to seal punctured membranes if cables have been removed.
It is also possible to integrate threaded bushings. Contact us for your desired variant.
The version with threaded bushings allows the feed-through plate to be screwed into the enclosure from the inside out. This protects against vandalism and manipulation from the outside.
