Split cable gland / KVT-SNAP is a circular split frame for quick and easy installation of cables with connectors or complete cable harnesses. By using the model KVT-SNAP, the cables can be pulled through thick walls (> 5 mm), e.g. through junction boxes without the use of tools. A sealing ring is included in the transport.

  • The snap ring is screwed into metric thread or tapped into the cut-out (it can also be fastened with a locknut).
  • Once the snap ring is affixed to the housing the equipped KVT is simply pushed into it.

Advantages:

  • Cable entry with or without contact
  • Warranties on pre-connected cables are maintained
  • Remodeling, repairs and maintenance can be done much easier and faster
  • High cable density, wide variety of grommets
  • Suitable for metric hole punching
  • Increased packing density when using double or quadruple bushings
  • Simple assembly/disassembly from the front
