Flexitast, the revolutionary pushbutton with integrated display is offering versatile and dynamic display options. Being equipped with a 72 x 72 pixel ZBD display, specially developed for SCHLEGEL, and an RGB backlight, Flexitast enables the flexible display of texts and symbols. Thanks to the special display technology, the screen content stays visible even without power connection. The elegant design and the fact that the display is protected by break resistant glass make the Flexitast an efficient and robust solution for a wide range of applications.

Simple, intuitive configuration

All types of Flexitast buttons can be configured via web browser. To do this, the individual button or the gateway of the Flexitast system is connected to a web-enabled device via USB cable and uploaded into the frontend. Once the connection to the Flexitast or gateway is established, the individual button or the system can be configured.

The following options are available:

Assigning a symbol for the state activated/deactivated
Assigning the background colour pressed/not pressed
Assigning blinking yes/no for pressed/not pressed
All Schlegel standard symbols are available
You can also upload and activate your own symbols

Variants

Flexitast as a single button

The Flexitast as single button is controlled by an external system, for example by PLC or IPC. The controller can also record events such as pressing the Flexitast button or exceeding a critical value of a level indicator and adjust the Flexitast button accordingly. The symbol on the button can, for example, be changed or a flashing red background can be displayed as a warning. The configuration is carried out conveniently via the browser on a PC, which is connected to the Flexitast button via USB cable.

Flexitast as a system

In a system, the control is done via a bus system in which up to 128 Flexitast buttons can be connected. The Flexitast gateway controls the communication and parameterisation of the individual Flexitast buttons and also acts as an interface to the external system. Events can be recorded via the external system and are transferred to the gateway, for example to change the symbol for a specific Flexitast button, to make several ones flashing, or to change the background colour of all connected buttons. The specific applications can be very diverse: be it changing the texts in different languages before delivery to the customer or an active warning in critical situations using red flashing warning symbols. Each Flexitast button is connected to the next via a cable, whereby the maximum distance between two buttons is 5 meters and the total length of the connection can be up to 30 meters

The configuration is done via the browser on a PC that is connected to the gateway via USB cable.

E NUX is an advanced and assembled cabinet system developed by the Italian manufacturer ETA S.p.A. Construction and Design

E NUX is built with a self-supporting frame structure made of high-strength sheet steel, allowing for easy assembly and disassembly of side panels and doors. Split cable entry frame with HAN 3A / HAN 4A connection

This split cable entry system is designed to facilitate the installation of cables with or without connectors, in combination with industrial connectors of the Han 3A and Han 4A types.

Industrial connectors can now be easily inserted directly into the cable entry frame.

The MIS frame system is a space- and time-saving solution for routing cables with or without contacts, and at the same time an interface for transmitting signals and power via a HAN 3A / 4A connector

Splitable construction:
The MIS consists of a frame (mounting housing for 3A/4A socket insert), a cover, two screws and a locking element. This design allows for easy installation and maintenance without having to disconnect existing cables.

Maximum performance, minimum size

Machines and systems are becoming more and more compact and the installation space is getting smaller. This is a problem for powerful contact elements because they have to be dimensioned accordingly. The consequence: the installation depth is often too high, which makes it difficult to use in limited spaces.

Thanks to the well-thought-out design, the contact blocks of the MK series are compact despite the high electrical power, so that the installation depth is significantly lower.

Five factors played an important role in the development of the new MK contact blocks:

The modular cable clamps MSMC from icotek MSMC are stackable and have been developed for a simple, fast and safe fastening of cables, pipes and other cylindrical components. You mount them easily to surfaces and C-rails. The big advantage of this cable clamp is that it can be flexibly extended by stacking or row mounting.

The modular cable clamp consists of an upper and a lower part and hexagon screws. You use a coupler to easily connect several cable clamps horizontally. The longitudinal and transverse ridges on the support surface absorb torsional and tensile forces. The central mounting point (hole) gives you a higher degree of flexibility on most surfaces. For even greater stability and resistance to rotation, use two long screws for attachment.

The new cable entry adapter KEA from Icotek enables 90° routing of cabling with Cable Entry Frames and Cable Entry Plates in size 24 (KEL-ER 24, KEL DPU 24 m.m.).

The adapter protects the wiring against mechanical tension in the entry and exit areas. It is mounted horizontally or vertically via screws & nut, alternatively using threaded bushings. Gasket is included and suitable punches are offered if required.
