All cooling units in the WSA series are characterized by high levels of energy efficiency (class A or B) and meet the limits required by the 2009\/125\/EC Ecodesign ErP 2021 directive. The integrated Free Cooling version available for the WSA series also enables significant energy savings, especially when installed in areas with cold or temperate climates.<\/p>\n<p>Also available in Low Noise version, ideal for installations near residential areas, our units maintain high performance and high energy savings, ensuring low noise. The HT version is designed for applications with high temperature water (up to +25\u00b0C) and includes screw compressors with oversized motors. The Electronic Expansion Valve (EEV) optimizes temperature and pressure for gas evaporation, increases efficiency at part loads on the user side and helps extend the unit's operating range. The Microchannel condensers are completely made of aluminum and expressly designed to maximize the performance of the cooling unit, they make it possible to reduce the overall dimensions and minimize the refrigerant charge. By using the external air to cool the liquid, the Free Cooling system can even replace the refrigeration circuit entirely, allowing the deactivation of the compressors. Depending on the climatic conditions, the WSA chiller will use the most suitable operating mode between:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Compressor mode<\/strong> (DX): the user's thermal load is met by the refrigerant circuit.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Blend mode<\/strong> : reduces energy consumption by exchanging part of the thermal heat with the surrounding air. This solution partializes the operation of the compressors, as they only need to produce the missing part of the cooling capacity.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Total free cooling<\/strong> : with low external air temperatures, the liquid is completely cooled by the surrounding air. Energy consumption is minimized thanks to the operation of only the variable speed fans and the partial valves.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Wide operating limits<\/strong><br \/>\nEach application has different needs based on ambient temperature, liquid temperature, positioning, sound level, etc. Cosmotec can meet the most diverse needs, thanks to a wide range of options and the possibility to extend the operating limits of the WSA series chillers, if necessary.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Very hot and dusty environment<\/strong> : WSA chillers are equipped with metal air filters to protect the condensers from dust and dirt. Operation is up to +55 \u00b0C with relief function. 100% cooling capacity is guaranteed down to +45 \u00b0C. If the temperature rises, the relief function shuts down the compressors without shutting them down.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Very cold environment<\/strong> : the compressor compartment is closed and heaters are installed to protect the electrical panel, the compressors, the evaporator and the entire hydraulic circuit. Free cooling goes down to -40\u00b0C (special design) with specially selected components to guarantee a long life for the cooler.<\/li>\n<li><strong>High temperature water applications (plastics)<\/strong>: The HT version's cooling circuit is specially designed to reach high outlet temperatures. The compressor has an oversized motor that allows wide operating limits and high suction temperature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Environmentally friendly version with LOW GWP<\/strong><br \/>\nWSA units are available with environmentally friendly R513A refrigerant that provides a reduction in global warming potential (GWP = 572). Blandningsl\u00e4ge : minskar energif\u00f6rbrukningen genom att byta ut en del av den termiska v\u00e4rmen med den omgivande luften. Denna l\u00f6sning partialiserar driften av kompressorerna, eftersom de bara beh\u00f6ver producera den saknade delen av kylkapaciteten.  Total frikylning : med l\u00e5ga externa lufttemperaturer kyls v\u00e4tskan helt av den omgivande luften. Energif\u00f6rbrukningen minimeras tack vare driften av endast fl\u00e4ktarna med variabel hastighet och partialiseringsventilerna.
